Under 10's season opener

Today saw the start of another seaon of Eagles Baseball.

Our under 10's were up against last years u/9's runners up Giants.

After a shakey start to the game our kids settled down & looked right at home on a baseball diamond.

All the kids did an outstanding job in the field & did what was asked of them, field the ball & throw to 1st base. There were also a couple of extra nice plays (Ashtons out at 3, Mikayla's 2 catches at short stop, Jordan also did a great job behind the plate)
Our batting was ok with all batters wanting to hit the ball, all managing to get bat to ball at some stage. Corey was the standout with 3 hits from 3 at bats, Bronson also did well going 2 from 2.

The new players fitted in really well & did some nice things, Brianna & Megan fielded the ball really well & Jonston managed to get a hit which brought a huge smile to his face & he turned out to be our 1st player to cross home plate his season.

The end result Eagles 2 Giants 4 was a good 1st up result!
