Under 10's winning streak comes to an end!

The U/10's winning streak has come to an end at 3.
Up against the stronger on the Pirates sides "Buckos"
the Eagles went down 1-3.

The Eagles were the more consistant of the 2 sides with the bat,
with all the players again managing to get bat on ball but the "Buckos"
were up to the challenge in the field & restricted us to only 1 run.
It was a 1- 0 score line leading into the bottom of the last innings.
The 'Buckos" who had struggled all game to hit the ball managed to get
enough hits in the last innings to score 3 runs & take the game.

Highlight of the game was Corey's catch at 1st.
(it was a line drive straight at Corey at 1st base who took a great reflex
catch & still had the presence of mind to look for the double play)

Another good effort from our Eagles who continue to improve every game
